Caracterização da frente de avaliação psicológica do projeto de suporte psicológico covid-19

Psychological research in situations of emergency requires the choice of quick and easy instruments to be used to assess the results of interventions. The aim of this study was to present the “Psychological Support COVID-19” evaluation front of Universidade Estadual de Londrina, which was created to offer emergency psychological care for health-care professionals and the population in general, who have been affected by the pandemic. The front structuring process was developed in three phases: 1: Bibliographic search; 2: selection of instruments; 3: elaboration of forms, instructional material, and routine of activities of the front. It was identified that the professionals affected by COVID-19 submitted to emergency care programs have the following emotional changes: acute stress, grief, depressive and anxiogenic symptoms, propensity to suicide, violent behaviors, abuse of psychoactive substances, predisposition to panic, among others. For those reasons, the Outcome Questionnaire (OQ-45) and the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) were selected to be implemented. There are 45 items in OQ-45 that assess three domains: subjective discomfort, interpersonal relationships, and social roles. The are 14 questions in HADS scale that assess the symptoms of anxiety and depression. A correlational analysis was performed to assess the relationships between the variables of those two tests used. Statistically significant positive correlations were identified between the tests, although each instrument allows the data to be treated more consistently in specific aspects. It is concluded that the selected instruments proved to be satisfactory as to the identification and monitoring psychological suffering indicators of the patients.Pesquisas psicológicas em situações emergenciais exigem escolha de instrumentos de rápida e fácil aplicação que avaliem os resultados das intervenções. O objetivo deste estudo foi apresentar a frente de avaliação “Suporte Psicológico COVID-19” da Universidade Estadual de Londrina, que foi criado para oferecer atendimento psicológico emergencial para profissionais da saúde e para a população em geral, que tenham sido afetadas pela pandemia. O processo de estruturação da frente foi desenvolvido em três fases: Fase 1: Levantamento bibliográfico; Fase 2: seleção de instrumentos; Fase 3: elaboração de formulários, material instrucional e rotina de atividades da frente. Identificou-se que os profissionais afetados pela COVID-19, submetidos aos programas de atendimento emergencial, apresentam as seguintes alterações emocionais: estresse agudo, luto, sintomas depressivos e ansiogênicos, propensão ao suicídio, comportamentos violentos, abuso de substâncias psicoativas, predisposição ao pânico, entre outras. Pelos motivos expressos, foram selecionados o Outcome Questionnaire (OQ-45) e a Escala Hospitalar de Ansiedade e Depressão (HADS). O OQ-45 possui 45 itens que avaliam três domínios: desconforto subjetivo, relacionamentos interpessoais e papéis sociais. A escala HADS possui 14 questões que avaliam os sintomas de ansiedade e depressão. Uma análise correlacional foi realizada a fim de avaliar as relações entre as variáveis dos dois testes utilizados. Identificaram-se correlações positivas estatisticamente significantes entre os testes, embora cada instrumento permita tratar os dados de forma mais consistente em aspectos específicos.
