A preventive archeology operation realised on the “rocade sud” near Castres, on a site called Saint-Laurens (Castres, Tarn), anabled the dicovery of a small late antiquity sepulcral area, containing sixteen inhumation burials. Because of the abondance and diversity of the funeral furnitures the use of this small rural necropole can be dated from the IVth century A.C. Far from completing a lack of knowledge on regional funerary archeology, in a region where no research were conducted on late antiquity necropoles, the datas collected during that operation give nevertheless to the Saint-Laurens site a special interest by renewing the available documentation.Une opération d'archéologie préventive réalisée sur le tracé de la rocade sud de Castre...
