Quarries of North-Aquitaine in the middle ages. The investigation was conducted in the North-Aquitaine (Poitou, Berry, Angoumois, Saintonge) by archaeology in the field, archaeological excavation and the study of historical documents. The author scrutinize the main sites and the development of working activities during the Middle Ages. However the question of relation between quarries and building and the statute of the cavities are also examinated.
