The level of awareness on work related musculoskeletal disorders among radiologic technologists in selected hospitals in Cavite

The demographic data used are age, gender, and length of work experience. The study used the descriptive method of research. Using purposive sampling technique, a total of 108 radiologic technologists in selected hospitals in Cavite participated in the study. A self-made questionnaire was used to measure the level of awareness on work related musculoskeletal disorder (WRMSD) among radiologic technologists. Percentage, frequency count, mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were the statistical tools used in the study. Results showed that, 1) majority of the respondents were 20-30 years old, equal proportion in terms of gender and have 0-10 years of working experience; 2) the respondents were moderately aware on work related musculoskeletal disorders; 3) the respondents had the same level of awareness on WRMSD regardless of their age, gender and length of working experience
