The united Modeling Language is a collection of text and diagrams that is used throughout the software development process. Tools have been developed to automate diagram rendering, but these require that the user be knowledgeable with the specific diagramming technique. Also, these tools are not capable of correcting logical errors and misconceptions that may be contained in the created model. This poses as a possible risk in the requirements engineering phase, where faulty understanding of requirements may lead to project failure.
