A blue flat flies from the bow, a red flag flies from the mast on the forecastle, and a United States flag flies from the stern. Three small white and red boats float near the ship. The title in the upper left reads U. S. Flagship Wisconsin. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard, U. S. Navy series 13 printed in Germany and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right and the card is postmarked illegibly.
