Ford\u27s Theatre Commemorative Medal (from The Life of Lincoln Medallic Biography Collection)

The medal\u27s obverse features a design after Lloyd Ostendorf\u27s original artwork that depicts Lincoln seated in a box at Ford\u27s Theatre. On the reverse, a short excerpt from his Address at Independence Hall appears. A laurel wreath borders the lower half of the medal. The medal is mounted in a leather slipcase album, which is Volume II of a two-volume set.
