Research proposal on a Project of Physical-Recreational-Gerontological Activities for the social integration of retired servants of the Higher Polytechnic School of Chimborazo.

En el presente artículo, el autor aborda una investigación dirigida a los servidores jubilados de las ESPOCH, así como a los factores, obstáculos y experiencias que se enfrentan en esa etapa, en la que su rutina y vida social, laboral cambia, lo cual se fundamenta como su tesis doctoral. El adulto mayor o jubilado se ve seriamente afectado con enfermedades físicas e incluso psicológicas al dejar de tener actividad y convivencia. Se hace énfasis en la importancia de la actividad física y mental en la edad adulta, proponiendo el sistema de actividades físico-recreativas-gerontológicas. In this article, the author addresses a research directed to the Higher Polytechnical School of Chimborazo retired servers, as well as the factors, obstacles and experiences they face at that stage, in which their routine and social work life changes, which is based as his doctoral thesis. The elderly or retired adult is seriously affected with physical and even psychological illnesses when they stop having activity and living together. Emphasis is placed on the importance of physical and mental activity in adulthood, proposing the system of physical-recreational-gerontological activities
