Microwave frequency multipliers are very useful and advantageous components in microwave systems, especially, where the generation of high frequency sinusoidal signals is very difficult because of degrading performance of the solid state oscillators with increasing frequency. These components are frequently employed in diverse applications such as commercial wireless communication systems, microwave transmitters and receivers, and military systems.
