This thesis aims to convert the "Family Needs Questionnaire" into the Czech language and to verify its comprehensibility in families after TBI. Another aim is to assess the family's perception of needs from FNQ on a scale of importance and the level of fulfillment of these needs. The thesis should point out the importance of the percepted needs of patients' families affected by the TBI and the necessity of support of caregivers. The thesis tries to introduce the basic issues of the consequences of TBI for the patient, the effects on families, family needs, their evaluation and occupational therapy interventions. The master's thesis is a preliminary research of this tool. It uses a combination of qualitative data processing including eight respondents' casuistics, as well as quantitative data processing using the categorial data analysis. (descriptive statistics).
