As it is evident from the title, the main aim of this thesis is to map the availability of occupational therapy for people with acquired brain damage in Prague and the Central Bohemia region. The first half of the theoretical part focuses on causes, incidence and consequence of acquired brain damage. The other half deals with occupational therapy within this target group with a particular focus on methods of obtaining information (interview, observation, questionnaires) and standardized tests. The last chapter points out the situation of people with acquired brain damage in the Czech Republic.
