Existe un gran debate en la literatura sobre los métodos de enseñaza más adecuados para desarrollar y transmitir los conocimientos y habilidades de carácter práctico relativos a la Dirección de Empresas. Este trabajo analiza y compara la eficacia docente de los juegos de empresa y los estudios de casos como métodos alternativos para la enseñanza práctica de esta materia. El estudio se ha realizado sobre una muestra de docentes universitarios pertenecientes al área de conocimiento de Organización de Empresas en España. Los resultados empíricos permiten concluir que los juegos de empresa hacen posible un mejor desarrollo de las habilidades directivas y despiertan un mayor interés y motivación entre los estudiantes.
