PERENCANAAN PERKERASAN LENTUR DAN PERKERASAN KAKU DENGAN METODE BINA MARGA (Studi Kasus: Ruas Jalan Raya Kalianget, Kec. Kalianget, Kab. Sumenep)

Roads are one of the important infrastructures in land transportation that serves to facilitate the movement of people and goods. Roads are very influential for connecting and supporting the economy of a region. One of them is the Kalianget highway which is the link between Sumenep Regency and the eastern island of Madura. So to support the increase in the capacity of vehicles on the road, it is necessary to plan the thickness of flexible pavement and rigid pavement using the Bina Marga method. From the results of planning calculations for a road length of 4 kilometers and a road width of 7 meters, flexible pavement is obtained using Sirtu (Class A) with a thickness of 10 cm as the subbase layer, Broken Stone (Class A) with a thickness of 20 cm as the top foundation layer, and Laston ( MS744) with a thickness of 5 cm as the surface layer, while for rigid pavement using a thin concrete mixture with a thickness of 125 cm as the foundation layer and a concrete slab with a thickness of 180 cm as the surface layer. The cost required for flexible pavement is Rp. 7,145,012.876.5 and for rigid pavement of Rp. 21,497,827,752.73
