PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF BERBASIS GAME EDUKASI TEMA CUACA MATERI PROSES TERJADINYA HUJAN UNTUK KELAS 3 SEKOLAH DASAR

Based on the analysis of the needs of the interview and observation results in grade 3 of SDN Purwantoro 2 Malang, with class IA teachers that the learning was conducted online (online) due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The problems encountered include in the teacher's learning video reading more text in explaining the material, the teacher does not explain in detail and the time used in the learning video is too long to make students feel bored. The research method carried out by researchers is a type of research development or Research and Development (R&D) which is often interpreted as a process or steps to develop a new product or improve an existing product. The research and development procedure in Lee & Owens consists of five stages, namely assessment or analysis (assessment/analysis) which includes needs analysis (needs assessment) and initial and final analysis (font-end analysis), design (design), development (development). , implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation). The results showed that (1) the use of interactive multimedia based on educational games in the process of grade 3 rain at SDN Purwantoro 2 Malang, made students more active in the learning process, this was indicated by the cognitive value of students with a percentage of 81.4%. (2) the use of interactive multimedia based on educational games can increase students' motivation and enthusiasm in the learning process. The results of this study in the form of interactive multimedia based on educational games with the theme of the weather the process of raining for grade 3 elementary schools are recommended to be used as a reference in increasing student interest in the learning process and developing media according to the needs of students and schools
