STUDI LITERATUR: CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION PADA PASIEN CARDIAC ARREST DENGAN COVID-19

Background : Around the world, many medical personnel have been infected and lost their lives due to COVID-19. This raises concerns for other medical personnel when performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation during the COVID-19 pandemic because of the risk of contracting the virus. This study aims to determine the literature review on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in Cardiac Arrest patients with COVID-19. Method : The study using the Literature Review method, by browsing four databases of Science Direct, Google Scholar, PubMed, and Biomed. The keywords used were "Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation", "CPR", "Cardiac Arrest", and "COVID-19". Inclusion criteria include: journals for 2020-2021, design studies are Randomized Controlled Trial, Cross Sectional Study, and Cohort Study, journals that can be accessed in full text, English-language journals, journals with OHCA and IHCA. Assessment of study quality using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) tools. Data analysis using thematic analysis. Result : The results of the analysis of 17 international journals using thematic analysis related to cardiopulmonary resuscitation in cardiac arrest patients with COVID-19. Three themes were found on the topic, namely: (1) Characteristics of Cardiac Arrest Patients, (2) CPR Strategies, and (3) ROSC during COVID-19. Discussion : In this study, the appropriate nursing implications are the role of nurses as educator for helping patients/clients in increasing health knowledge by providing clear and complete information about cardiopulmonary resuscitation in cardiac arrest patients with COVID-19, the role of nurses as nursing care provider for provide complex CPR measures to patients experiencing cardiac arrest during the pandemic to minimize the risk of death in patients, and the role of nurses as reformers is to seek to make systematic and directed changes to cardiopulmonary resuscitation in cardiac arrest patients with COVID-19 which has not been studied previously
