In this study, the beliefs of the students from the Tecnológico of Antioquia related to the English learning were analyzed regarding the BALLI (Beliefs About Language Learning Inventory) factor about Nature of Language Learning. This is a quantitative approach research that corresponds to a descriptive cross-sectional design. The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and contingency tables. Beliefs related to vocabulary, listening skill, linguistic typology and learning context represent the major complexity for the students.
