This research aims to investigate and produce a set of tasks, theoretically referenced, that stimulates students to produce their own meanings on issues involving decision-making in everyday experiences related to Financial Education. This research is part of a new strand of research in Mathematics Education called School Financial Education, whose purpose is the insertion of the subject in the Mathematics classroom. The research is theoretically based on the Semantic Field Model and the concept of School Financial Education proposed by Amarildo Melchiades da Silva and Arthur Belford Powell.
