The study investigated the relationship between staff development programmes and job satisfaction among staff of higher institutions of learning in Adamawa state, with particular reference to Polytechnics, Monotechnics, and Colleges of Education Libraries in Adamawa state. The target population was 105 library staff which consisted of professionals, paraprofessionals, and the supportive staff of these libraries. The entire population was used as sample.
