Globalization had overtaken the world system in the last few decades. It has made the world smaller as people and market becomes more accessible to one another. Individuals had become affected not just by their local community, but, by economic, political, and cultural processes or forces that operate worldwide. In music, American and European pop-culture in addition to diminutive movies, dress fad, western styled beds, toilets, showers and restaurants, had overtaken or subsumed Nigerian Music.
