Daggett, Cal. June 14, 1911.Dear Papa:-All goes well here, tho it has been very hot this last week. Sunday it was 104° on our porch, and no breeze, which made it worse. The next day was hot too but was quite windy so no one minded it much. Now today and yesterday has been cool - in comparison - 90°, and little son is happy. He is lying on the bed on the porch, playing with a little rattle, and talking to it. He grows sweeter each day, and is such a comfort. He is getting along nicely with his guns. I am thin but well and very happy. Buel loves the little boy and I so much I cannot help but be happy. We are both looking forward to the time Muir will begin to talk and toddle about.I wrote to Wanda today, and Buel had a letter from Tom not lon...
