Principals should treat students as individuals judged by their character and learning style as well as their capabilities. To be an effective administrator and to establish a strong foundation, the principles of the Iowa Standards for School Leaders (ISSL) are used as guides. I will discuss each of the ISSL principles and explain how they influence my philosophy of educational leadership
