The locomotive is number 347 and just ledge able on the tender is a letter \u27N...\u27 which leads to many possibilities, New Haven or New York are most likely. Very few of these wood sided box cars survived past the 50s. Note the break wheel on the top of the car and the breakman\u27s walkway. Plenty of manpower to clean up the mess.
