AbstractThis article reviews the current state of knowledge about a political party, the Liberal Union, who presided over the longest and most stable government of the Elizabethan era. Unionism is a political project that has traditionally suffered neglect of historiography by then or be considered strategic solution for the classic conservatism is perpetuated in power.
