Crises econômicas, ascensão da extrema direita e a relativização dos direitos humanos

This article aims an existing relation between financial crises, the rise of the far right and the relativization of human rights especially minority groups. The Long Depression, the Great Depression and the Financial Crisis of 2008, all systemic crises of capitalism, served as a base to foster the return of the extreme right and, the most worrying, a relativization of human rights, especially those aimed at protecting minority groups. The State is then used as a way to oppress, even more, the ones defined as a common enemies, whether they are the poor, blacks, refugees or homosexuals. In this scenario, emerge a strange and ferocious clases that defines as “good citizens” that uses the State to relativize and deny fundamental rights
