A geomorphological study has recently been conducted in Lebanon and aims at reconstituting the palaeogeographical stages of valleys related with the downcutting of the Mediterranean hydrographic network. This study focuses on the reconstitution stages of Kelb valley incision. Whereas geomorphic indicators are rare on the surface, we used sub-surface geomorphologic indicators revealed from the speleogenesis study of Jeita cave. The study area is located downstream of the valley and close to the Mediterranean Sea.
