In our research, we are interested in the development of a model of social interaction able to take into account, in collaborative virtual world, a part of the emotional and social dimension of the human interactions. Our approach provides the user with ‘rich' contextual information immerging him in a ‘situated' interaction (cognitive, social and cultural). We propose a design framework in order to model a ‘rich context interaction' between characters cooperating in a virtual world. As in a multi-user video game, these characters are animated by ‘real' humans but their gestures, facial expressions and emotional behaviours are generated by an emotional and social model.
