Anthropogenic (industrial, agricultural, combustion) and natural emissions (biogenic, biomass burning, dust) are sources that affect our atmosphere. With a rapid and measurable impact on the quality of air at a probable contribution to climate change, their role varies in terms of chemical species emitted and consequences on the environment and human health. In addition to a direct local impact, plumes of trace gases and particles can be transported far from their sources.
