A Leitura do Ensino Religioso na Cultura Afro-Brasileira e Cultura Indígena

The present article aims to present the proect "Contemporary History of Religious Education" Research of the Group Education and Religion. In order to understand the reflection on the african-Brazilian culture and indigenous in Religious Education in the Brazilian context, in our days, which from the Law of Directives and Bases of National Education no. 9394/96 is based on cultural and religious diversity the country. For this, was used qualitative research with historical method and was based on literature review, subsidized by educational laws, books and magazines. When to go through  the recent history of this area of ​​knowledge, reveals that the Religious Education stands out as one of the first curriculum components, in the Brazilian scene, that taking the reading of the religious phenomenon of religious traditions african-Brazilian and indigenous. So collaborate to educate citizens multiculturalists, forwards inter-religious dialogue and promotes new meanings and the inclusion of these ethnic groups that historically have brought valuable contributions to the culture of our country.O presente artigo objetiva elucidar o projeto "História Contemporânea do Ensino Religioso" do Grupo de Pesquisa Educação e Religião. Com vistas a compreender a reflexão sobre a cultura afro-brasileira e indígena no Ensino Religioso, no contexto brasileiro, em nossos dias, o qual a partir da Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional nº 9.394/96 tem por base a diversidade cultural e religiosa do país. Para tanto, utilizou-se a pesquisa qualitativa, com método histórico e fundamentou-se na análise bibliografica, subsidiada  por leis educacionais, livros e revistas. Ao discorrer a história recente desta área de conhecimento, revela que o Ensino Religioso destaca-se como um dos primeiros componentes currículares, no cenário brasileiro, a assumir a leitura do fenômeno religioso das Tradições Religiosas afro-brasileiras e indígenas E assim colabora para formar cidadãos multiculturalistas, fomenta o diálogo inter-religioso e favorece a ressignificação e a inclusão dessas etnias que historicamente têm trazido valiosas contribuições á cultura de nosso país
