This Bachelor’s thesis, which was written during my studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology, investigates Industrial robot application in area welding technology and is divided into three main parts. In the first is the classification and sorting of industrial robots and manipulators according to different criteria explored. The next part concentrates on industrial robots and manipulators used in current industry and informs of the most important industries for industrial robots.
