EMPLOYMENT ISSUES OF UNIVERSITIES GRADUATES IN PRIMORSKY KRAI

The effective functioning of the economic system of the Primorsky Territory, like any other constituent entity of the Russian Federation, is impossible without the availability of qualified personnel with higher education. They are the foundation of the economy. Development and improvement of skills is a priority at the national level. This article analyzes the problems associated with limiting the employment opportunities of young personnel, as well as the prospects for their competitiveness in the labor market. The number of university graduates who were employed in their specialty, including in related industries, was investigated. The authors, after conducting a study, name how many university graduates remained unemployed. Offer a vision of this issue. The solution to the problem of employment of university graduates is proposed to be considered at different levels. They talk about the need to develop approaches and study this issue comprehensively, from different positions, taking into account the factors and conditions that affect the state of the labor market. They touch upon the question of who should take the initiative in solving this problem. They conclude that university graduates working in their specialty have higher wages and higher labor productivity than those young people who are forced to retrain.
