Add to ORKGA Masonic band with instruments and dressed in uniforms are on the steps of the Indiana State Soldiers & Sailors Monument on Monument Circle. The band, identified by the name on their drum, was from the Egypt Temple in Tampa, Florida. The letters, A.A.O.N.M.S. identify the group as belonging to the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. The band was in town for the annual event and participated in concerts on the Circle and parades in the downtown.The original nitrate negative was copied with funds provided by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission in 1990.
