This catalogue/monograph, to accompany an exhibition of Falk’s work from the 1960s to the present, contains a biographical essay by Laurence and short essays by Grenville, Thom, Graham and Milroy. Laurence provides a detailed account of the artist’s life, including her art education, the influences of Pop and Funk art, teaching experience and involvement as a member of Intermedia. His analysis of various works by the artist (most of which are based on events and objects of everyday life) draws attention to their symbolic value.
