The Eli Lilly and Company Foundation was established in 1968 as a major source for cash donations to corporate and community-based organizations. This nonprofit corporation is made possible by the company's profits. Additional programs were set up to support disaster assistance and international relief efforts in developing countries. In addition, the company offered products at no cost to many low-income, uninsured U.S. patients who otherwise could not afford prescription medicines.Use of this image is restricted to projects related to Destination Indiana.
