El presente artículo analiza si la Corte Constitucional ecuatoriana, cuando conoce de las acciones extraordinarias de protección en contra de sentencias de justicia indígena, aplica el principio constitucional de plurinacionalidad e interculturalidad, y si, en aplicación de esos principios, interpreta los derechos humanos interculturalmente y comprende los hechos también interculturalmente. El análisis se realiza a partir de la revisión de sentencias de la Corte Constitucional, de sus expedientes y de conversaciones que se han mantenido con dirigentes de las comunidades La Cocha y Lote Cuatro y con los involucrados en los conflictos.
