Two field experiments were conducted in 1989 at Universiti Pertanian Malaysia to determine the effects of intercropping Acacia mangium with peanut (Arachis hypogaea) on chemical properties of two types of soils; a normal mineral soil and a desolated ex-tin mining soil.
