Allergic rhinitis diagnostic and treatment actualities

Catedra Otorinolaringologie, USMF ”Nicolae Testemiţanu”Allergic rhinitis is a medical and social problem of the 21st century because of the frequency of this pathology, the affectation of the normal way life, the long treatment and the association with other allergic diseases, for example, the asthma. The epidemiological researches proved that allergic rhinitis represents a pathology with is often met in adults as well as in children. The incidence of this disease in USA 10-20% and in Europe 10-15% . In Moldova the incidence is 15-20%-adults 10-20%-children and the incidence of adolescent school children and over the past 15 years has increased from 5% to 14.9%. Rinita alergică este o problema medico-socială a secolului XXI din cauza prevalenţei înalte precum şi afectarea modului normal de viata, tratamentul îndelungat şi asocierea cu alte patologii alergice, ca de exemplu: astmul bronşic. [6] Studiile epidemiologice au demonstrate că rinita alergică reprezintă o boală des întâlnită atât la maturi, cât şi la copii. Incidenţa bolii în USA este de 10-20%. [3] În Europa de 15-20% din populaţia . În Moldova incidenta este de 15-20%- adulti, 10-20%-copii şi incidenţa şcolari şi adolescenţi pe parcursul ultimilor 15 ani s-a majorat de la 5% până la 14,9%.
