Vertigo in patients with migraine

Moldova Catedra de Neurologie USMF „Nicolae Testemiţanu”Migrainous vertigo is a vestibular syndrome caused by migraine and presents with attacks of spontaneous or positional vertigo lasting seconds to days and migrainous symptoms during the attack. Vertigo is one of the most common complaints reported at the patients with migraine. Thus, this study has the purpose to emphasize some correlations between migraine and vertigo based upon bibliographic materials and upon medical cases presented herewithin. Migrena asociată cu vertij este un sindrom vestibular cauzat de migrenă şi prezentat prin atacuri de vertij spontane şi poziţionale, care poate să dureze de la câteva secunde până la câteva zile incluzând simptome migrenoase în timpul atacului. Vertijul se numără ca unul din cele mai frecvente acuze raportate la pacienţii cu migrenă. Astfel acest studiu a fost efectuat cu scopul de a identifica unele corelaţii între migrenă şi vertij pe baza datelor literaturii şi a loturilor de pacienţi studiate
