El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar el valor agronómico y económico de un nuevo clon de camote (Ipomoea batatas L. Lam.) lanzado como variedad comercial. Se realizaron las siguientes evaluaciones: (1) Cruzamiento de parentales, siembra de semilla botánica en invernadero y trasplante de plántulas en casa de malla, (2) Ensayos de rendimiento en campo y (3) Parcelas de comprobación o validación (para definir su valor agronómico y rentabilidad).
