MECH 330 is currently a four (4) credit hour course with five (5) contact hours: three (3) lecture and two (2) lab. Currently, the grading for the lab is integrated in the overall course grade. The course will be separated into one, three (3) credit hour lecture course (3 contact hours), MECH 330, and one, one (1) credit hour lab course (two contact hours), MECH331. This arrangement falls in line with the model set in other programs such as Physics (i.e. PHYS 114 and 115). If workload is assessed by credit hour, this change will need to occur to better define the workload associated with this course
