Burnout syndrome and risk factors leading to its occurrence in the workplace

This bachelor´s thesis concentrates on burnout syndrome and risk factors leading to its occurrence in the workplace. The aim of the theoretical part was to precisely study Czech and foreign literature for the chosen topic of burnout syndrome and to conduct a literature research. Furthermore, a qualitative research was conducted, where a group of respondents working in the field of human resources was subjected to a semi-structured interview. The answers were analyzed and interpreted using thematic data analysis in parallel with the method of open coding and analytical induction. The main objective was to gain a deeper understanding of the symptoms, development and risk factors of burnout syndrome in the workplace. Examine the individual phases and specific causes, determine their common symptoms and differences. Research has shown a close link between burnout and the effects of stress. As part of the qualitative research, individual coping methods were mentioned, which the interviewed respondents use to prevent the recession of the burnout syndrome.Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rizikovými faktory syndromu vyhoření na pracovišti. Předmětem teoretické části práce bylo prostudování odborné české i zahraniční literatury na téma syndromu vyhoření a následné zpracování literární rešerše. Dále byl proveden kvalitativní výzkum, kdy byla skupina respondentek pracující v oblasti řízení lidských zdrojů podrobena polostrukturovanému rozhovoru. Jejich odpovědi byly následně analyzovány a interpretovány za pomoci tematické analýzy dat, souběžně s využitím metody otevřeného kódování a analytické indukce. Cílem této práce bylo hlouběji porozumět příznakům, vývoji a rizikovým faktorům syndromu vyhoření na pracovišti, zjistit, jak u respondentek probíhaly jednotlivé fáze a jaké pociťovaly konkrétní příčiny. Zmapovat jejich společné příznaky či odlišnosti. Výzkum prokázal úzké propojení mezi syndromem vyhoření a vlivem stresu. V rámci kvalitativního výzkumu byly také uvedeny jednotlivé copingové metody, které tázané respondentky využívají k prevenci vyhoření
