4have fully recovered from your illness after your beloved wifes death. I presume your daughter who was in Arazonia with you was fully benefited by the climate. You will recollect a number of years ago I called on you at Prof. Shaws residence I have regreted that I did not see you for a longer time but as I traveled with the Rev. Jenkins of Milwaukee[1]219 Grand Ave,Waukesha WisJan 27 1909.My dear Mr. Muir.It is some time since I have heard from you. I met judge Milton Griswold yesterday and he asked me when I had heard from you You will recollect that Mr. Griswolds & Stewarts rooms was just above044155and he had arranged to return east, but I could not go with him until I saw you though the visit was short, when I was Co. Supt. of Schools for Waukesha County. I requested of the teachers to read Prof Shaws Theory & Practice of Teaching I little thought I would have the pleasure of meeting you at his home in San francisco. I suppose you still enjoy work in Geology & Forestry. How is your brother David?04415 [2]yours and your brother Davids when we attended the Wis. University Mr. Griswold is our county judge Mr. J. N. Stewart is at Appleton in a lawyers office so I have learned. I am here in Waukesha yet having sold out my milling business at Mukwonago which is eleven miles south of here. It is a long time since we attended the university together & what[3]a great change has taken place in our lives. Most of the students have passed out from my knowledge of their whereabouts.
