Research area is located in Palanro of Mallusetasi District, Barru regency, South Sulawesi Province. The research area located on northwest of South Sulawesi. This area has a complex geological structure, as well as 3 tectonic plate movements which forms many structures such as joints, folds, and fault. The method used in fault analysis are lineament analysis, kinematic analysis and dynamic analysis. The lineament analysis will be used for determination of major fault in the study area. Kinematic and dynamic analysis will conducted in order to identify the type, movement and major force of the faults in the study area as well as the effect of the fault to the study area.
