This thesis summarizes three studies in the area of machine learning applications within mental heathcare, specifically in the area of treatments and diagnostics. Mental healthcare today is challenging to provide worldwide because of a stark rise in demand for services. Traditional healthcare structures cannot keep up with the demand and information systems have the potential to fill in this gap.
