MyCity is the college branded VLE, powered by Moodle. The Learning Technologies Team at City of Glasgow College aided by the Student Engagement Team attended class rep meetings to discuss the use of MyCity and how the system could be improved to become more engaging to students and increase use.\ud The team demonstrated the use of MyCity Badges that would be awarded to students for completing certain activities within MyCity. This would allow the team to find out if the idea had any mileage. The feedback was extremely positive so a range of badges were created which are automatically awarded to students for using the different functionalities within MyCity
