Development of new silylium ions, intramolecularly stabilized by a Lewis base (phosphine or sulphide), are the subject of this work. The strength of the interactions with the Lewis base has been modulated in order to obtain a good balance between stability and reactivity. The catalytic activity of the more promising models has been studied in Diels-Alder reactions. In chapter 1, a bibliographic overview of the silylium ions synthesis afford a good understanding of the difficulties that can be encounter (solvent and counterion effects). The developed methods that allow the control of their Lewis acidity are presented, as well as their main applications in catalysis.
