Background: To perform general warm-up prior to athletics is widely recognized and has adocumented effect on performance. Lower extremity injuries are commonly occurring forsoccer, handball, volleyball, and floorball players. Injury prevention exercises decreases therisk for musculoskeletal injuries, supposing good compliance exists. Whether injurypreventive exercises may increase performance is to this day unclear.
