STRUCTURAL DESIGNS AND RELIABILITY PREDICTION OF PARTS OF METALWORKS OF OPEN-CAST EXCAVATING MACHINES

There the study objects are the strength indeces, the reliability indeces and the survivability indeces of metalworks of excavating machines, the normalizing technique of strength of metalworks. The purposes are to develop and to realize by practice the prediction methods for the reliability and for the substantiation of safety factors conformably to the parts of welded metalworks of open-cast excavating machines with regard to the presence of defects. The numerical design methods of stressed-strained state, the methods of statistic simulation by computer, the statistic methods of processing of experimental data have been used. The algorithm and the program for the statistic simulation of failure, the normalizing technique of strength indeces and of service life of metalworks have been developed. The probability assessments of survivability, the values of safety factors of welded joints, which are recommended, have been obtained. The plan of guiding technological material, the albums with the failures and with the designs of limiting state of metalworks have been introduced in the Krastyazhmash GP.
