The 11 papers describe the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), the integration of North Korea, India, Pakistan and Middle East in the NPT, nuclear safeguards and export controls, nuclear disarmament and proliferation risk in CIS, and the role of cooperation activities for the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. The possibility of a new international regime of plutonium and highly enriched uranium management is described also.
