16. Nutzerseminar des Deutschen Fernerkundungsdatenzentrum des DLR Tagungsband

The 16"t"h Users' Seminar of DLR's German Remote Sensing Data Center (DFD) from 20"t"h to 21"t"h October 1999 was held at Oberpfaffenhofen. The presentations covered a broad range of different remote sensing areas at atmosphere, landscape structures and environment. At the beginning reorganisation aspects of the earth observation activities within DLR, the German National Space Program, the ESA-Living Planet Programme and European Earth Observation Activities have been presented. After this introduction part emphasis was given on the status and the development of the earth observation missions SRTM and Landsat 7. This section was followed by presentations of hyperspectral data interpretation, atmospheric correction, environmental application, and image analysis of landscape structures.
