The investigations are described in detail. They comprised verifications using standardized industrial modules to identify the light characteristics in co-operation with Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, Freiburg, as well as measurements on a-Si modules for verification of the diode model on which the further investigations will be based. For this, light and dark characteristics were recorded at varying luminance. Different artificial light sources were compared in order to provide a basis for the final module and system design programme.
